Art is a system of expression allowing every person to pass his or her ideas/feelings to one another. Without merging with politics or other social considerations, it delivers its speech from a conscience to another. In order to be universally and humanly coherent, art has to keep as its basic premise: “Every human being is free.”
The generation of the 21st century needs something new. Changing the world means making coherent and responsible choices. Choices that take into account everyone’s freedom. Then, society could evolve following a coherent and responsible conscience.
Therefore, the issue is to awaken images and feelings in other people minds by means of art. Yet, today, the difficulty is to succeed inprovoking something different, something unknown, something new. With communication developing and artistic expression becoming more accessible, more popular, it is now getting difficult and perilous to generate new ideas.
Mental patterns do not seem endless. All we do is recycling them. And this is the disease of our century. How could we bring something really new (to the table)? How could we break the repetitive cycles of our imagination? Can we create new patterns?
But why creating new patterns? Why replacing a pattern by another? All we would be doing is creating a new cycle of ideas that would become obsolete after a while. Could not we conceive a mental development/evolution that would lead us to a new state of consciousness ; beyond the jolts of our imagination?
For this change to happen, or at least to take a step towards this essential and vital phase of the evolution, we need the individuals to join; we need the individuals to ask each other questions and to wonder. We need the people to go exploring; wandering; to commit into observations; to question behaviours. In order to draw a new source of life. In order to draw a r.evolution.
Because a creative act is real only when shared.
