R.evolution Of Our Time - a unique network of liberty. Welcome on board!

IDENTITY:
‘R.evolution Of Our Time’, launched in 2006, is a global creative network driving us in the most diverse directions as possible. As we see the world changing a little bit faster every days, we aim to question, with an ethnological and cultural ontological view, what are the mere characteristics of our generation. Together, we are building a long term plan with an educational framework, to bring us all together, to enlighten our points of view, to understand, to know regardless of how different or how much we disagree with it. While engaging dialogues with many different groups as possible, we seek to know, to understand and to diffuse the feeling, the apprehensions, the fears, the hopes, the waitings, but also the thoughts and the actions of each one of them.
WHAT WE DO:
First is, a webzine, launched in 2008, titled R.O.O.T. (written in french and english). Underground and unseen but always suppporting the great tree of life, R.O.O.T. is a place on the World Wide Web where art speaks up for human rights. Everydays, a team of regular writers publishes their feelings and questions about what they witnessed. R.O.O.T. aims to generaly bring a firshand knowledge about relevant events through the senses of its contributors (writers and photographers). All our questions seek to understand the human being (its behavior and mind).
Back in 2006, we started with a filming creation called MussuTV (all available on http://mussutv.blogspot.com). The mere question of the MussuTV webisodes is : "What are we doing with our lives?" Each week, we bring a new autopsy of our behaviours. What's special about MussuTV is that we make sure that all the videos are fully understandable to everyone in the world. Which means that the only language we speak is the act. No words. No editing.
In 2007, we started to explore the music world. This lead us to found a noisy and very involved band called Mussu Fushu (http://myspace.com/mussufushu). Out of tune, ecstatic, wild, electric and self-educated. Work in progress.
THE TEAM:
R.evolution Of Our Time was created by Raya B'Dull and Lyann Taylor. It first started as a wild questionning dream: what are we doing of our lifes? Are we really free to do what we want? What is freedom? They decided to use their artistic habilities to communicate this passion.
Competences:
Raya B'Dull: art history and anthropological PH.d student at the Centre de Recherche sur l'Imaginaire in Grenoble, France. Her work is based on the human perception and how they turn what they feel into art. That's what lead her to set up the whole R.evolution Of Our Time network. She leads the network, writing articles for ROOT, writes/sings/plays guitar for Mussu Fushu and shoots videos for MussuTV.
Lyann Taylor: photography student in Paris, she brings a very honest critic. Taylor is the D.I.Y. effort that makes the whole experience possible. Every things people do is captured into her camera. Her strong sense of esthetic and her critical sceptical mind make it move forward. She leads the network, taking photographs, writes/plays drums for Mussu Fushu and shoots videos for MussuTV.
R.evolution Of Our time is a network based on a free sharing experience which welcomes every kind of contributions.
